The Art of cutting through

forge your own blade and cut through what needs to be cut!

The art of forging combines craftsmanship with captivating symbolism. The eternal interplay of yin and yang, day and night, masculine and feminine is reflected in the creation of a blade - an art that has existed since the dawn of time.

While you forge your own blade, we will also explore the Five Elements System from traditional Chinese philosophy and medicine. The metal element and its relationship with the fire element play a central role not only in the forging process but also in the course of our lives. The element ‘metal’ symbolises - among other things - the ability to let go of what no longer has its place and to assert clear limits, in other words, to cut through what needs to be cut to make room for what must be.

I will guide you step by step through this process. Together, we will create a unique and powerful piece, forged by your own hands, reminding you - every time you use it - of the importance of cutting through consciously and carefully.

This workshop is open to anyone seeking a unique experience, regardless of prior knowledge.

However, I have intentionally designed this one-day workshop, as well as the choice of models and materials (stainless steel), to attract a more feminine audience, encourage more women to explore the art of forging, and help them to cut through what needs to be cut.
