POLA MALANDAIN (FRANCE/AUSTRIA)
Pola is a French citizen living in Vienna. Before returning to where she truly belongs - the workshop - she worked for major consulting and luxury firms around the world.
She sees knives as both subtle and versatile. Among the oldest tools known to humankind, they remain some of the most essential. Knives embody a perfect harmony rarely found in other objects: delicate yet sharp, loyal yet dangerous, polished yet rugged, feminine yet masculine.
When she makes knives, she feels at home.

Pascale loves bringing together wood essences and colors, always respecting lines and volumes to the fullest. Each creation tells a story - unique, just like each of us.
Every knife she makes is a one-of-a-kind piece, imbued with its own personality.
She places great importance on lines, the harmony of wood fittings, the overall balance of the knife, and the interplay of volumes, colors, and materials.
Constantly evolving, she is driven by creativity, artistic passion, and the exploration of new techniques.
She enjoys combining functionality and artistry, whether in fixed or folding knives, to bring beauty into everyday gestures.
ANNE-JULIETTE TANGUY (FRANCE)
The desire to create, transform, and enhance materials has always been a driving force for her. A gift from friends - a workshop with a knifemaker - sparked a passion that would change everything. Working with wood, metal, and horn quickly became an obvious calling.
So much so that she decided to make a career change and undertook a year-long certified training program to become a professional knifemaker.
She imagines and sketches her knives, cuts and shapes the steel, carries out the various heat treatments and works with different types of wood and materials for the handles.
She also restores and sharpens knives, and offers introductory workshops in knifemaking.
